"My Location" is incorrect on desktop computer. 0 Recommended Answers 9 Replies 0 Upvotes
I just purchased a new Moto phone with Android 8.0. I have location set to "high accuracy" and I am logged into my Google account. I am logged into my same Google account on my desktop using the Chrome browser. In Google maps my saved places etc. are there but the blue dot is incorrect. When I click the grey dot in the lower right, it moves the blue dot top a location within about a quarter of a mile from my real location (which is correct on my phone). However, if I search for a business etc. then click directions it uses the old blue dot location.
My phone knows my exact location and both my phone and desktop are logged in to the same Google account. The desktop is using a Google browser. Why is Google maps showing different locations?
