How do I make a labeled pin's name show up on a list

I have labeled some pins and they show the name of the labels when I have the "labeled tab" selected in "your places". When i go to the "saved" tab and lick on one of my lists it still just shows the latitude and longitude coordinates. This isn't so bad for now as I only have a few locations but I soon plan to have in the neighborhood of 50 remote locations with no addresses. Is there a way to make my list display the label instead of the latitude and longitude or rename the coordinates so I can make sense of my list. A long list of latitude and longitudes does not do me any good. Any help is appreciated.

Thank You,

I too have this question. I have 2 work locations that i put a pin on. I would like to be able to tell Google "Ok Google, take me to Work 2" or "Work 1".

I'm not sure if this is possible. LatLng labels are less commonly used. Have you tried this on your phone?

Me too. Look at this collection for example. I can’t even differentiate which pin for who’s house (like on the first screenshot). All of them was shown using lat-long. Even though all are actually have label attached (like on the second screenshot). Relying on “Labeled” list are cumbersome since it is cluttered with all saved pin. What’s the point on having many lists when any usages are inconvenient?

Both are happening on web (pc browsers) and phone (Google Maps app).

Item in “saved list” shows no label (even if they have one):

All items have label:

Same issue here, which is causing huge problems.
All my pins are labeled, but when I look at the Lists, the labels are gone and I can only see lat/long. I need to share one of these lists but it's worthless without labels.
This is true on my iPhone app and on PC desktop.

When will this be fixed???!

Hear, hear. The "saving" feature is retarded. I have three basic pins (I think) Stars, Labels, and what looks like a "Stop (play)" type shape. Floating the mouse over them doesn't tell me what those icons mean. The Saving process fails to really allow me to choose which one of these to save as  - instead I can "add" a label after having saved a place ... ? Why can't I just edit a saved place and give it a name? Instead I get to see a list of coordinates.
I'm currently surrounded by bushfires and instead of being able to create a useful list of locations, road name-intersections, fire fronts etc I'm faced with needing a course in how to create such.
My Maps (or whatever the older version some decade back was called) was USEFUL!

I have a workaround for this.
Sign in (to the same Google account that you are using on your mobile device) on a desktop or laptop computer.
From the left hamburger menu, select Your Places.
Select the tab Saved.
Beside the list Favourites, select Edit list from the three-dot menu on the right.
Write the name of the label in the box provided for each location. Edits will autosave.
This does not appear to work for the list called Starred. I had to delete most of my Starred list and put the places into Favourites. Really I don't know why they bother with the Starred list at all.

I have the same problem.  I have a bunch of saved pin's labeled by GPS coordinates.  I need a way to identify them separately?

Me too same problem.  Plus one can't put a :Lat/Long into Home or Work.  Google needs to realize not everyone lives and works in a city where just about every place has an address.   Even those that do live and work in a city eventually get off road, for hiking, fishing, camping, etc.  A list with a bunch of numbers is useless.  Why or why to you let is edit and rename things, but don;t show this info in the lists.
