Location images on google map are not showing up

I search a place and can go to that place on the map, but not able to see all the photos of that place.

When I click on the location photo in the left panel to load all the photos, it just loads one photo in the right panel and keeps loading icon running in the left panel. No other photos gets loaded in the left panel and the navigation arrows in the right panel doesn't work either.

This is happening for all locations on my laptop's browsers. I tried with Chrome, Edge and Firefox with no luck. In an android app photos are being loaded correctly.

Please help.

hi all,

could you please try the following?

go to https://www.google.com/preferences and sign in if not already.

scroll down to bottom of page, where you should see section titled "region settings".

try selecting a specific country instead of current region. perhaps try united states, united kingdom, ireland, new zealand, australia, singapore?

once done, click save, then try viewing the photos in google maps again?

please let us know if that helps.

hello khadim,

welcome to the google maps community forum!

are you somewhere in south east asia?

i have seen several reports of similar behaviour from south east asia.

likely a temporary regional problem that should resolve itself after some time.

i realise it is irritating and/or frustrating, but it is likely just a matter of waiting it out.

hello blagoje, you still have the problem for both mobile app and desktop / web browser?

could you please temporarily disable extensions in desktop google chrome, use incognito mode, then try posting screenshot again?

also try viewing google maps photos in incognito and with extensions disabled in desktop google chrome?

hello blagoje,

sorry, too many different people seeking assistance for different things here, so i am getting a little mixed up.

the original problem addressed in this discussion thread had to do with google maps on desktop / web browser, not mobile app.

would be best if you create a new discussion thread so that your specific problem can get full attention without being intertwined with this one.

your problem is different if it is on mobile app.

you can create a new discussion thread here - https://support.google.com/maps/thread/new?hl=en

Hi cfanatic and everyone, hope ya'll are well..
For me, it was a clear-cut issue with Safari.. as you can see in the screen shots,
Just a cursor-hover and Chrome is Elvis..
.. while Safari is being it's usual daily schizophrenic bad-selves.

Be safe \m/   !!
