Hi, Spencer Boy
The Google Maps team has added the missing road.
Could you double-check and confirm?
However, some search functionalities and navigation may need up to a week to stabilize.
However, I suggest ensuring the following:
A) Delete the Maps app's cached and stored data from the phone.
B) Delete the browsing history and cookies from your desktop.
Alternatively, searching through the browser's guest mode would serve the purpose.

If yes, could you confirm whether that settles your problem?

Hi, Spencer Boy
Welcome to the Google Maps Community Support Forum & thanks for your post.
However, can you provide the following details?
A) Addition of the road
- GPS coordinates of the start & end points of the road needing addition or name change.
- Screenshot of the email received after submitting the edit.
- A screenshot of the edit status in the "Your contributions" tab. (The edit status can differ from the one visible in the email.)
Next, can you provide these additional details?
- A photo of the road name signage,
- Also, could you include a screenshot of the GPS data in the photo of the signage? That helps to ascertain the location correctly & eliminates errors.
B) Addition of the address.
- GPS coordinates of the location.
- A screenshot of the email received after submitting the request.
- A screenshot of the edit status in the "Your contributions" tab. (The edit status can differ from the one visible in the email.)
- A screenshot of the address in the "parcel map" of the local administration.
- A photo of the facade of the dwelling with the house number.
However, could you capture a maximum zoomed-out photo of the facade without losing the clarity? That helps to ascertain the location correctly.
Alternatively, you may upload a screenshot of the GPS data in the photo, which remains the surest way to know the location correctly.
That will help to suggest the subsequent action.

Hi, Spencer Boy
Thanks for your reply.
However, there are many gaps in the information.
A) The screenshot for editing the road displays two sub-branches.
I have highlighted that in the screenshot below.

Or is that a cul-de-sac?
Also, does that have the identical name "North Maple Avenue?
Next, can you specify the GPS coordinates of the start & end points of the branch?
B) Details of address editing are missing in the replies.
Can you upload the following details for each of the addresses?
- A screenshot of the email received after submitting the request.
- A screenshot of the edit status in the "Your contributions" tab. (The edit status can differ from the one visible in the email.)
- A photo of the facade of the dwelling with the house number.
Or is the ending action yet to be completed?
If so, can you edit the addresses following the steps mentioned in the article at the link below?
The steps for Android & iOS systems are in the same link.
C) Next, the road editing was on November 14, 2023.
The Google Maps team expects the users to wait for two weeks at least in case of the pending edits & allow the automated checks to evaluate that.
Can you update the status on November 28, 2023?
Otherwise, can you provide details of previous attempts?
That will allow bypassing the mandatory waiting period for the current edit.

Hi, Spencer Boy
Thanks for your reply.
Can you edit Maps excluding the driveway?
That may enhance the possibility of automatic acceptance of the edit.
