Navigation

Imagery

Imagery is outdated for my area. How can I request for it to be updated?

Google Maps updates imagery on a regular basis and our teams strive to keep it as up to date as possible. Currently there’s no option to request an imagery update.

Is there a way to tell the age of the image used on Google Maps?

You can check the dates of Street View imagery in the top left corner of Google Maps. This option is currently not available for Satellite view.

My location is wrong. What should I do to fix it?

My timeline is not available.  What should I do to fix it?

Please check if you have Location History enabled (disabled location history or GPS is a common cause for missing data). Maybe your location history was turned off and at some point data was not collected by Maps. More information is available in this article:
