StreetView vehicle entered private property without permission, how to request removal of photos?
Google StreetView vehicle entered clearly marked private road & property without permission, took 360 photos and published on Google Map. How do we request these streetview photos to be removed from Google Map?
Welcome to Google Maps Community Support Forum & thanks for your post.
I’m sorry to hear that Google Street View vehicle entered your private property without permission and took photos. According to Google’s support page, you can request to blur or remove photos or videos that you’ve contributed to Google Maps. However, if you want to remove photos or videos taken by Google Street View vehicle, you need to follow these steps:
Go to Google Maps and search for your home address.
Click on the image of your home or drag the little orange man at the lower right corner of the screen to your house.
Click on Report a Problem at the bottom right of the screen.
Select Privacy Concerns, then Face, License Plate, or My Home.
Adjust the image so that your home is inside the red box and click Submit.
Google will review your request and may contact you for more information. They will also notify you when they have updated the image. Please note that this process may take some time and it does not guarantee that Google will remove the photos or videos completely.
