I've logged a correction to Google Maps twice this past year and Google hasn't fixed it

Welcome to Google Maps Community Support Forum & thanks for your post.
However, can you clarify whether the street name near your house is correct, but the one in your address is wrong?
Additionally, can you provide coordinates of the street?

PS: In this peer support forum, volunteers answer the queries.
The volunteers are users of Google Maps like anyone & do not have any special privileges to make changes in Maps.
Google employees or representatives aren't reading the posts usually.

Apologies if you found the use of the term "Some" out of context.
Nevertheless, the Google Maps team doesn't accept references through interactive maps.
The only available options are 1) A PDF map through the government domain or 2) a photo of the street name signage.
Believe you have gone through the thread I mentioned in my previous reply.
I provided a reference through the official USGS map. However, since that map is interactive, the team regretted taking references through that.
Nevertheless, the OP provided the photos of the street name signage after a prolonged period of two months. That settled the issue finally.

Thanks for the details.
However, the photos do not contain any GPS data.
I suppose, during upload, the GPS data is vanishing from that.
Nevertheless, can you post the screenshot of file properties displaying the latitude & longitude values?
That will help in the next step.

However, the following two screenshots are needed to enable forwarding the request.
- - A screenshot of the email you received after submitting an edit to the road name,
- - A screenshot of the status of the edit as displayed in your contributions tab,
The team expects users to attempt the edit first. The team would intervene only when the automated system rejects that.
Can you provide the same?

I have now forwarded the request to the Community Manager.
I shall revert if the team needs any further data.
Nevertheless, it may take two to three weeks for the changes to be visible in Maps.

Google Maps team has updated the name of the section of the road as requested by you.
Here is a screenshot.

However, I suggest you wait for another three to four days before you try updating the address of your property. Allow Maps to synchronise the data & then do so.
