Google Maps listens to your feedback

We’re always looking for ways to improve Google Maps and love hearing what you like or what you don’t like. If you want to tell us what you think, learn how to send us feedback.

After you send us feedback, we review it, and use it to make Google Maps better. Here are some recent features we've launched that you've been asking for.

[Dec 2017] Use navigation with device upside down

Before, when using navigation in the Google Maps app, your device had to be held straight up (vertical) or in landscape (horizontal) mode. Now, you can use your device from all angles, even upside down! Give it a try if you charge your device while driving, or if the headphone jack is on the bottom.
Note: You can't do this on an iPhone X.
