Get traffic or search for places along the way

Even if you don’t enter a destination on maps, you can:

  • Get traffic for your drive
  • Search for places easily
  • Quickly navigate to a common type of place, like parks or gas stations

Get traffic for your drive

  1. On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. At the bottom, tap You Save place and then Saved trips.

On the saved trips screen, you can find information like:

  1. On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. Tap your profile picture or initial Account Circle.
