You can add private labels to places on your map. Labelled places show up on your map, in search suggestions, in the "Your places" screen, and in Google Photos.
To add a label, follow the steps below.
- Open Google Maps.
- Search for a place or address.
- Choose Add a label.
Note: You need Web & App Activity turned on to give a place a label.
Edit a label- Open Google Maps.
- Click Menu
Your places
Labelled.
- Choose the label that you want to edit.
- Click Edit your label
.
- Enter a new label name.
- Open Google Maps.
- Click Menu

- Next to the label that you want to remove, click Remove
.
- Open Google Maps.
- Click Menu
