Set or change your home & work addresses

Type less and get directions faster by setting your home and work addresses. On your phone or tablet, you can also choose an icon for your home and work.

Tip: You must be signed in to set, edit and find your home and work on the map. Find out how to sign in to Google Maps.

Set your home or work address

1. On your computer, open Google Maps and make sure that you're signed in.
2. Click Menu   Your places Labelled.
3. Choose Home or Work.
4. Type in your home or work address, then click Save.

Change your home or work address

1. Open Google Maps and make sure that you're signed in.
2. In the search box, type Home or Work.
3. Next to the address that you want to change, click Edit. 
4. Type in a new address, then click Save.

Delete your home or work address

1. Open Google Maps and make sure that you're signed in.
2. Click Menu Your places  Labelled.
3. Next to your home or work address, click the .

Fix problems with home and work in Maps
