View your My Maps using Google Maps

You can view your My Maps using Google Maps. To make and edit your own custom maps to share online, use My Maps.

Find your My Map

If you've created a My Map, you can view it in the Google Maps app on your phone or tablet.

1. Sign in and open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap You   Maps.
3. Tap the map.

Create and edit a My Map

To create and edit custom maps, open My Maps in your web browser.

Close or remove a My Map

To close or remove a custom map from appearing in Google Maps:

1. Tap a place, line, or region from the My Map.
2. At the bottom, tap the My Maps icon .
3. Tap View Map Legend.
4. Tap Close .
