If you use Google Maps to get directions for trips that you make frequently, like your daily commute, you can use the Go tab to get those directions quickly and show your estimated time of arrival.
Important: This feature is only available on mobile.
Pin your frequent trips
By default, the Go tab suggests several addresses to pin. These addresses come from your search history. Learn about directions and places from your history.
If you pin a favourite trip, it shows up at the bottom of your screen when you tap the Go tab.
Tip: You can only pin driving and public transport trips.
- On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app

- At the bottom, tap Go
.
- To get a list of suggested trips, in the bottom bar, swipe up.

Find the trip that you want and, on the right, tap Pin
.
Remove a pinned trip
- On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app
.
- At the bottom, tap Go
.
- Tap the pinned route that you want to edit.
- Tap anywhere, except 'Start'
- At the bottom, tap Pinned

- Tap the trip that you want.
- At the bottom, tap Pin

- On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app

- At the bottom, tap Go
.
- Tap the pinned route that you want to edit.
- Tap anywhere, except 'Start'
- At the bottom, tap Pinned

- At the bottom, tap View more routes.
- At the top, tap Driving
.
- At the bottom, tap Pin

Learn how the Go tab prioritises trips
We prioritise and filter trips from your current location. Even if you’re far from your typical trip’s starting point, you can find your driving trips. To find your public transport trips, you must be close to the initial station that you used in your pinned trip.
