If you have forgotten the password, and you have had recent access to the account from a desktop browser, your passwords are saved in your browser, or If you use Chrome sync or Google Smart Lock for Passwords on Android, you can view the passwords you’ve saved in Chrome and Android on any browser by visiting passwords.google.com. So, try those steps first.
Also remember that the Account Recovery process is mostly about three things:
- access from a recently used device, browser, location, network the system considers familiar
- access to both the recovery options - email and phone, listed in the account
- in some cases, reasonably accurate knowledge about account-related questions
and it seeks to identify you as the owner of the account beyond all reasonable doubts. So, you would need to have sufficient (multiple) proof along those lines for the system to accede to your request.
For our better understanding, please answer the following questions without including any personal information and in yes/no format where applicable.
- Do you have access to both the recovery options (email address and the phone number) listed on the account?
- Are you attempting account recovery from a familiar (recently used) location, device, browser, and network? Please note that it has to be a browser based access (not an app or email client based) which should not be beyond the last few weeks.
- If yes, when was the last time you signed into the account from the above setup using a password?
- Was the device formatted or factory reset since?
- Do you happen to use VPN to connect to your Google account?
- What's the exact sequence of steps you go through?
- What's the final response you received from Google?
If you haven't previously, visit gmailaccountrecovery.blogspot.com and Tips to complete account recovery steps for tips and suggestions on how to best submit the form.
Unfortunately, Google no longer provides any escalation or review options for account recovery. If you are unable to prove ownership using the provided recovery process (plus the information in the above-linked articles) then the account is lost. There are no other options.

but I removed my account from my laptop
-- Have you checked if your password is saved in the browser?
Can u recover my account as I have used the email to log in to my games If I don't have my email I won't be able to log in to my games
-- Account Recovery is a DIY process. No one can recover the account on your behalf.
Even I tried now recovering my email now it's showing me ( too many attempts)
-- You may have to allow a minimum period of 48 hours before trying again. You can use this time to check for any password stored in the browser.

- Open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More. Settings.
- At the bottom, click Advanced.
- Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings.
- Click JavaScript.
- Turn on Allowed (recommended).
As for the message you receive from Google, it is very indicative of the fact that the system isn't convinced beyond all reasonable doubts that you are the owner.
You have mentioned having access to the email and phone number. Can you confirm that they are the recovery options? Also, are you at the same physical location and using the same network? Apparently, something is making the system suspicious and it can only be due to:
- not having access to recovery options
- not attempting from a familiar device, browser, network, location
- incorrect password and/or any other questions asked in the account recovery flow.

It still keeps on showing me Google couldn't verify if this account belongs to you. I have my phone number you can send a question on my phone number or my alternate email. Cause I have my games logged in to my email. Please 🙏

-- I'm afraid the account recovery process doesn't work that way. Because of the various laws on data security and online privacy, the account recovery process is fully automated with the following details:
- The Account recovery process seeks to identify you as the rightful owner of the account beyond all reasonable doubts. This is important to remember as it is often a case of proof vs proof beyond all reasonable doubts.
- The system is designed to follow the most secure process of assuring ownership of the account. This means that your answer to questions will have an impact on the final response you receive from Google as well as on the follow-up questions or subsequent AR attempts. It also means that you can't determine the questions or their order of appearance in the account recovery flow.
- The AR process changes over time. Just because you have received certain questions or options previously, doesn't mean the system is guaranteed to ask those questions at a later date.
- Due to its compliance with the existing data security and online privacy laws, the Account Recovery process can only verify very specific account-related information to authenticate and determine account ownership. Everything else remains out of bounds.
- A proof of identification is not considered a proof of account ownership. Since Google doesn't ask for any ID or documentation during the account creation, they also do not accept ID or documentation of any kind for the Account Recovery process.
- For some years now, Google has stopped giving much credence to security questions because answers to those can be easily guessed by close friends and family members. So, they are no longer offered as an option in newer accounts though you may see them in your old accounts if they are set up. Furthermore, even if you answer them, you are asked to go through the recovery process for additional proof of ownership.
- Beginning in August 2020, Google no longer provides any escalation or review options for account recovery. So, if you are unable to prove ownership using the provided recovery process, then the account is lost. There are no other options.
