How can I ungroup email conversations. I really hate this feature

click the
gear picture in gmail > settings > in the general category turn conversation view off > save http://support.google.com/mail/answer/5900?hl=en

I have turned off the conversation view. Emails are still grouped. Can't get attachments from previously received emails in the group. Can't delete unwanted drafts or it deletes original email. I hate this conversation view grouping. REMOVE IT PLEASE

Once you do - the segregation will disappear AND
You will sear your GEAR ICON too !

Unfortunately, you are mistaken. That will not undo conversation view.

As it happens, IMO, Gmail designers should have got a bonus for including this feature that keeps conversations together - and Outlook designers were pretty quick to copy it.
