How do I remove spam from 'amazonaws' and 'Affpartners' 2 Recommended Answers 0 Relevant Answers 8 Replies 12 Upvotes

I'm getting tons of email spam from 'Amazon AWS'.

It all started after taking a survey from some 'official account' from Instagram that gives away free iPhones last June.

I didn't expect in just two months that many of the emails that came to my spam folder are malicious sites such as sex scandals and prostitution sites. Most of the senders are from a site called "Affpartners" through compute.amazonaws.com and they sent me random junk from random senders containing these malicious sites everyday.

i.e. random sender noreply@random name.affpartners.com or random sender via (random IP--).us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com.

I tried to unsubscribe but to no avail! They just kept on sending me random stuff everyday!

It came to my most suspicious concern that I became a victim of online phishing and I needed some assistance in helping me remove my email address associated by these random attacks into my email.

I want someone to assist me into tracking my email address that are linked from the survey site that I took!

UPDATE: I discovered that the address is via javamail.tomcat@pdr8-services-05v.prod.affpartners.com, and I needed assistance in helping me solve this case aside in filter and blocking this address.

Hi,

It is not possible to deny incoming emails in Gmail. All incoming mails will reach the user's Gmail account unless Gmail servers detect that the mail violates their policies and guidelines. If you think a user violate Google policies, you can report here https://support.google.com/mail/contact/abuse

You can create a filter to move those unwanted emails or emails from a specific sender directly to trash.

Regards
Gem

Unfortunately, I already unsubscribed from these spam mails but to no avail. I'll try to block these users who promoted prostitution via email.

Also, I already filed a complaint to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center regarding my concern.

Yes. But I cannot contact the Federal Communications Commission because I'm a Filipino citizen from the Philippines. But I do know this: when clicked on the show original, I discovered this domain address that had sent me through:

javamail.tomcat@pdr8-services-05v.prod.affpartners.com

I don't know if there are other things to take it down.

I already contacted Amazon and FBI ICCC regarding the major issue.

Don't worry, I already set up a filter and changed my Google Account password since I've been searching around for solutions.

Thanks anyway.

You screwed up, first of all, you filled out a survey expecting a free iphone. What did you expect to happen?
Second, you tried to unsubscribe from the spam emails, bad!
They got your email, because you were greedy, deal with it.
Then you confirmed your email was a "live" email by trying to unsubscribe.
Now your email address has a dollar amount attached to it, so the scammers sold it to other scammers.
Local Police, FBI, Interpol, etc. can do nothing about it.
This was your doing.
