My signature image getting very big even if i choosen small in the signature setting.

Hi All,

I have included a pic in my signature. While i'm composing the mail it appears in small. But when i'm adding the contents in the mail body, the signature image getting changed into Best Fit Automatically. But in my setting it is still in small size.

I have the same issue.
It only happens if you do "Paste" into Gmail. What is happening is that when you "paste" Google Gmail decide to make all images bigger.

Here is gif of what I see (no signature but random image):

The image is not visible due to forum settings.

keep resizing to small before sending? ;-)

Hi all,

I found two solutions for this:

There is product called Email Signature Generator by cloudHQ which fixed this. I tired and it works ok. It still shows big images for a second but then they replaced with real one.
The other workaround is to press Ctrl-Z (Command-Z) immediately after paste. That works sometimes - I guess it depends on timing or something.

I am experiencing this issue as well. Began today. Any paste action into the body of the email automatically changes all images, including my signature image, to "Best Fit". This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Also having this issue in my signature block that has an image. Started on Friday May 29 all of a sudden with no previous settings changed.

Likewise, it just happened to me too. Seems like it must be a Gmail issue, not a user one. Hopefully it will be fixed asap as its very annoying!

I noticed as I was composing 2 separate emails between 1:34 to 1:37pm today (so approximately 5-10 minutes ago now as I am writing this comment), in the first email I sent - the image in my signature still increased in size, but in the second email I was sending, the issue seem to have stopped on it's own. Hopefully it stays that way.

Does anyone know if this has been resolved yet? Seems like we just have to wait for a gmail fix?
