Sending myself emails works on all my other gmail accounts but the newest account I've made doesn't show emails I've sent to myself. I can only find them in the sent box. What should I do?

sending messages to oneself is a useful thing to do. Why won't Gmail show them?  For example, I am testing new calendar integrations and am sending event invites to myself to test.  But I can't see them in my inbox? This sucks.  I don't care about clutter, I have 52,392 emails, show me everything please.

True.  But when you send yourself an e-mail from your account it DOES appear as new/unread in your Inbox.  I do this ALL the time with notes and reminders.

Our addresses are one letter off - xxxak@ versus xxxk@.
