you cant block emails from entering your gmail account - there is only this https://support.google.com/mail/answer/8151?hl=en or a filter to delete them https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6579?hl=en&vid=0-501617709104-1489141452010 a filter is better cause block sends to spam AND is UNREAD making you check spam and waste your time
click the gear in gmail > settings > filters and block senders . scroll to the bottom to see the feature . to use it open an email , click the more arrow and you will see block XYZ
in gmail you can only mark emails as spam / phishing or filter them to trash

are they in spam or the inbox ? if they are in spam - thats where they should be , if not , mark them as spam / phishing or filter them to trash bottom line is once you are on a spammers list you cant get off so either ignore the spam and let gmail delete it for you after 30 days or manually delete it .
if you trust the sender you can unsubscribe if they have the unsubscribe link if you dont trust them , dont click unsubscribe - that validates your address and you get MORE SPAM - its a FAKE unsubscribe link !!!
