Unable to send message to multiple recipients, sending to one and receiving works well
1
I have created a Gmail account and tried to send a message to 380 recipients. This works without problems in another account, so I know that it should be possible. It looks as if the e-mail has been sent, and I receive no error message at all, but no one has received the message. I have tried twice without success. Since the account was created yesterday, lack of storage is not the issue. I have also not exceeded the sending limit of 500 per day. When I tried to forward the e-mail to myself only, it worked, but was delayed by 2 hours. Sending a new e-mail with the same attachments to myself also worked right away. I don't know how to fix this since I don't understand what the problem is. Please help!

Problems, and hopefully solutions, all there.

Thank you, but the thing is that I don't get that error message they are referring to in the post and since this is the FIRST time I try to send anything to these recipients from that account, it's impossible that someone has flagged previous messages as spam. So it doesn't explain why my message is not sent. Since I have another account where I regularly send e-mails to the same recipients without any problems whatsoever, I don't understand why it does not work with the new account.

I am having the same problem and I don't understand the restriction!  I am sending a PERSONAL email to about 150 people I KNOW!  It is a notification of my new email address.  I never had a problem doing this through my corporate email/Outlook.  I was shocked to find I cannot do it on Gmail.  I tried cutting it down to about 20 people at a time and still it's a no go!  Incredibly frustrating.  Am I going to have to send 150 separate emails??!!!

Please consider MailChimp, or similar.

As this is the first time, Google probably see that as unusual activity,  (hacker may have grabbed the account)?

This is stupid, I will have to disable my account then in that I am part of a church that send group emails all the time how are you supposed to do so if they are restricted...
I guess I will have to choose another email service.....
Thank you GMAIL as I just got set up!!!
