UPDATE: I completely deleted my unroll.me account and I think that's fixed it. Or I at least haven't noticed it happening anymore. I hope this fixes it for others too. If you use unroll.me to get off of stuff, delete your account when you're done.

Several emails, some of which are from my credit card company, are moving to trash automatically. And after I put them back into the inbox they went back to trash. I use Inbox but I went to gmail to figure this out and it's still happening there too. It happened on my phone app and on the desktop browser.
As my colleague mentioned above only unroll me or other app which you gave access to your account can behave like that and move your emails around. Also extensions or add-ons might do that.
To see which apps and sites you have approved to connect to your account and to remove ones you no longer use or trust, please do as described below.

POP or Forwarding settings: Check theForwarding and POP/IMAP tab of your Gmail settings. Look for any rules that would send forwarded or downloaded mail to Trash.
IMAP: If you have used IMAP to access your mail in a local email client, such as the Mail app or Outlook, you could have a faulty rule in the client that is trashing your mail. Try disabling IMAP access on theForwarding and POP/IMAP tab of your settings.
Faulty filter:Faulty filters may not be obvious. For example, you might have intended to create a filter that acts on mail from a certain sender, but you accidentally filtered all mail addressed to you, or all mail sent from a .com email address, etc. If you have any filters at all, even if you think they aren't at fault, back them up, remove them, and see if the problem still persist. You can back up your filters using the filter import/export lab in your Gmail settings.

From what I can tell, everything is correct. I checked the filters and there are 4 but they're all turned off (I don't know why) and none of them should affect this (different addreses and folders).
