no way to undo unsubscribe from mailing list

I have erroneously unsubscribed from MFA emails using gmail's "unsubscribe" button. I now no longer receive these MFA emails, which I need. This is not a mailing list with its own "unsubscribe" functionality; we are dealing here with a function provided by Google.

The email via which I "unsubscribed" was in my "spam" folder. I have since marked it as "not spam" and as "important".

There was a filter, presumably auto-generated, specifying that emails from the mailing list used by the MFA provider should be deleted. I have removed this filter. I have also tried creating a filter to mark emails from this list as important and never send to "spam", but this did not work and I have removed that filter as well.

A banner still appears above this email showing that I unsubscribed from the relevant list (see attachment, cropped to remove list name but no other information). Curiously, this banner was not above previous emails from the same sender/via the same list. To try finding a possibly ephemeral "undo unsubscribe" button, I attempted to unsubscribe from one of those as well. There is no such button, but now that I have returned that email to my inbox, it also has the banner (the rest still do not).
The image is not visible due to forum settings.

This is not a true mailing list unsubscribe, as the sender has confirmed that the emails are still being sent with no anomalies on their end.

Please note that in the last one a user claimed to have found and escalated a tracking ticket for a corresponding known bug nearly two years ago. If this is a known bug and the ticket can be found, please bump again.

From the end of the MFA provider, I have confirmed that there is no way to restore access to my account, which is tied uniquely to my SSN and to which I need access. That is, it is imperative and time-sensitive that I get this invisible filter removed.

i got this reply for you from Google

  1. Click the settings button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select "See all settings" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Navigate to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Scroll down and select "Create a new filter".
  5. Add the email address or domain you want to whitelist.
  6. Select "Create filter"
  7. Check the box that reads "Never send it to Spam".
We don't have an explicit way to "re"subscribe to an email since we treat it like spam once the user selects unsubscribe. But the user can whitelist to allow it back into their inbox. Changes usually take up to 24 hours as well if the user follows these steps.
