How do I stop these AD emails

I get about 10 sometimes more advertisement emails in one day.    I hate it.    How do I stop them.    I've blocked so many and yet they just keep coming in

These are the 3 ways to deal with unsolicited emails:
  1. Mark it as Spam - This helps Google's algorithm, which is based on multiple factors to better recognize spam. But this is time consuming.
  2. Block Sender - Sends all future emails from that email address under Spam. Effective immediately.
  3. Create filters - Helps to keep unsolicited emails off of the inbox, but doesn't mark them as spam.
So, depending on how, where and what type of messages show up, you can choose to use the best way to deal with them. If you can share more details, we can discuss these options in greater detail.

Thank you for your reply and trying to help.
I can't find those options on the advertising emails.
It will allow me to delete or favourite.    If I try to see more it only has the "why do I see this advertisement" option.    I tried finding there to block these emails but there is just no option.

It's just so frustrating because these advertisements are not things I'm interested in at all.   Mostly financial advertisements to apply for some sort 9r another credit,  or hello fresh and their likes.
Thanks for the details. They were very helpful.

Gmail would only show you ads like below, a maximum of 3 one-line ads under Promotions and a maximum of 2 one-line ads under Social.

You can't opt-out of ads. They are a part of your privacy and terms you agree with Google and described here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en-US.

What you can do, is to personalize the ads you see by visiting this page - https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated?hl=en. You can find more details here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/2662856?p=adssettings_activity&hl=en

In case, you see the "There are no Ad Settings for this account" message in the  https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated?hl=en page, it is a known issue for some accounts, and currently looked at by the team at Google.

Finally, please refer to this help article on how you can block and remove ads - https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/2662922.
