I have received an email regarding a recent hotel reservation asking me to click confirm to save my rsvp. However when I do it says my java script has been disabled by gmail.
Hi Kara, can you please check that message again? I don't think Gmail can disable Javascript because it uses Javascript to provide its own features. I suspect that it is Chrome or something else on your device that has disabled it.
To enable Javascript in Chrome:
Click on the configuration icon (three vertical dots) at the top right
Choose Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Site Settings
Click on Javascript
Click on the switch to the right of Blocked to switch to Allowed
If it is already Allowed, check under Block to see if your hotel site is listed there and remove it if so.

Hello,
When using the Gmail App on my phone I receive the message "JavaScript Forms are disabled in Gmail"
I am trying to submit replies to an embedded form.
Hi Ángel, I tried a test of that process using the Gmail app on an Android phone. I was unable to get any response at all from the embedded form. I had to use the button Fill in using Google Forms. Once I did that, I had no problem.
At what step exactly did you get the Javascript message?
What type of phone are you using?
The behaviour might depend on what kind of controls are used in the form. I don't see any settings for Javascript on my phone either in Settings or in Gmail.
