All of my emails have disappeared. How can I recover them?
Having access to these emails is very important to me. Is there any solution for recovering my emails and/or an explanation for how this happened?

or an explanation for how this happened?
Are you using any software from Apple to access Gmail?

Read IPhone Users Are Accidentally Deleting Their Emails Thanks To Apple's Boneheaded UI Update User error also contributes to this. You should complain to Apple if this is your experience.
Have you searched your Gmail in the desktop version at https://mail.google.com? Best use an updated browser with cookies and JavaScript enabled, on a PC/Mac/Chromebook.
Read https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6593?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop Also https://is.gd/eBmh9F for a more detailed search. https://www.easeus.com/file-recovery/recover-gmail-email.html is also helpful.
Did you look in Trash? ("Bin" in some countries), or "All Mail"? Trash/Bin is a label on the left hand side of the page. You might have to expand "More" if on a PC to see this label. (click on down arrow, alongside of the "M".)
Also check, if you have conversation mode on, that they are not "buried" in the conversation. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/5900?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop. Google collapse long conversation threads.
Gmail messages are missing is also helpful.
Gmail received in Confidential Mode and which has been deleted due to this, cannot be recovered.
If you, or a hacker, deleted the messages permanently, in which case they have bypassed Trash/Bin, or you have deleted them from Trash/Bin, or they have been in Trash/Bin >30 days, then they usually are gone forever, and cannot be retrieved from Google. (Email deleted/missing from Spam or Drafts can't ever be recovered.)
You can try the following; success is not guaranteed; it is designed for accounts that were hacked. Google may not accept your request.
1. Use the Gmail security checklist to secure your account. (You will need to Change your Google Account password in this process, and please then don't forget it!)
2. Fill out this form to find out whether your messages can be recovered Step 1. must be completed before Step 2.
3. Any messages recoverable might not come back into the original Gmail labels.
4. Messages removed from Spam can never be recovered.
This process is a "one in, all in" procedure; you cannot select which emails are to be returned, and this may take up to 24-48 hours to complete. Google may try to go back the last 30 days prior to deletion date, however Google can only return what is available, which may be some, none, or all of the missing messages.
Note that recovered mail, if subject to a filter that you have set up, may bypass the Inbox and be filtered as required. To get all of this mail back into the inbox, if required, on a web version of Gmail, type is:unread in search bar, tick the little box on top of the list (left hand side), then select from the icons "Move to Inbox".The recovered mail will also stay in the correct labels to which it was automatically filtered.
If you didn't remove these messages, you must properly secure the account as soon as possible.

Friendly reminder. Account security and password protection is your responsibility; and it is not the job of Google to do this for you.
