Inbox issue.

This morning, I went to look for an email from Friday in my inbox. It was no longer displayed there. It is still in in "important" and "all mail". I didn't change any settings. Why have all my emails from inbox that are older than two days stopped being displayed in the inbox?

There are two possibilities.  You might have archived the message, intentionally or unintentionally, removing the Inbox label or it might have simply been pushed to the second page by newer conversations.

When you found the message, did it still have the Inbox label?

I don’t see any kind of label when I find all these messages in “important”.

I also am getting near the storage limit for this mailbox. Could that have an effect on its behavior? I believe I have 2GB left of storage

Storage limits will not change the behavior, apart from stopping new messages when you go over quota.

The labels are shown at the top of the conversation when you open it for reading:

All I see is the folder at the top left corner. I am receiving all of my emails as they come in but it looks like anything that was older than two days ago has been removed from my inbox for display. All of my emails continue to exist as “read” in the important and “all mail”
Tabs.

The last email being displayed in my inbox is from Saturday all other emails that were once in my inbox for now no longer there

Just to be clear, your categories said you were using Safari on iOS to read your Gmail.  Is that accurate or are you using one of the mobile apps.  If so, which one (Apple Mail, Gmail or something else?)

All of the Gmail apps (web and mobile) should show the labels with the subject.  If you don't see any labels, then something caused the messages to be archived.  There is nothing in Gmail to archive messages by age, so it may be a third-party app.

I first noticed this problem this morning when I checked  my mail on my iPhone as I was looking for an email that had come in on Friday that had some actions for me to complete. I noticed that basically I had no emails in my inbox anymore that was earlier than Friday. I then transitioned to my MacBook and using the Apple mail program encountered the same problem.

From there are used safari and logged into my Gmail account on the Google website. There, I noticed the same exact problem that all of my emails in Gmail prior to Friday were no longer in my inbox but we’re all there in the important any all mail tabs.

I figured at that point this must be an issue with the actual Gmail account as the Apple product simply pull the data over from Gmail.

I can also easily move any of the emails (50K plus) from important back to inbox. I don't understand how they got moved out of the inbox in the first place. I didn't change any settings or move any of them.
