How can I create a hyperlink in Android's Gmail app?

I came across an article I wanted to share, so I pasted in a link intending to use a hyperlink only to see no obvious way to do so. This day and age I don't know many people who will use a link – even with a brief message – unless it's a hyperlink.

This begs the question, how can a hyperlink be inserted?

I now know the answer to my own question and wanted to share it for those who don't yet know.

Directions below:
  1) Open the webpage you want to hyperlink.
  2) Copy the link.
  3) Open Gmail app and hit the "Compose" button.
  4) Paste link into the body of the e-mail body.
  5) Save the e-mail into drafts, then close the e-mail.
  6) Go to drafts and click on the draft containing the link. The link should now be clickable.
  7) Click anywhere within the link and type the word, or words, you want to read.
  8) Once done, erase everything except the word, or words, you want.
  9) You now have a blue colored clickable hyperlink.

Hope this helps you.
