My Gmail says I have 1 unread email that I can not find. How do I find this email?

For about a month my Gmail says there is 1 unread email but I can not find it. Does not matter the device: iphone, laptop, ipad... they all show one unread message

Try a search on: is:unread

If that doesn't find it, try: is:unread in:anywhere

If there's an unread message in the account, one of those will find it.
