GMail App Not Pushing (GS4)

Hey all -

Anyone else have a recent problem with the GMail app not syncing/pushing to the device? Problem just started 2 days ago, and since then I've rebooted the phone multiple times, as well as doublechecked the sync settings, logged out & back into the GMail app, and even cleared the GMail data through app manager multiple times as well.

It will sync manually with downward swipe; but I'm not getting the push notifications at all.

I'm using a Samsung GS4 running Android 4.3 and GMail 4.7.1 on the Verizon network.

Any thoughts? Anyone else having this same problem? Really aggravating me here...

Yes! I'm having the same problem on my GS3 (Verizon). Have had this before with past downloads, but it was always that the new download would uncheck the sync box. Haven't figured anything out so far.

Yes, same problem the last few days on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Verizon). I've tried turning auto sync on and off multiple times (which only pushes the outstanding emails once) and clearing the Gmail cache and deleting data and rebooting (which fixes it for a only a few hours). I noticed my phone's operating system was updated a few weeks ago, but I only started having this problem a couple days ago.

I just tried "uninstalling updates" on the Gmail app, and then going into the Google Play Store to update the Gmail app again. It seems to be working now. Though oddly enough, it's not showing the new emails in the notification bar, but when I go into Gmail, at least the new emails show up there now without having to refresh.

I'm having the same troubles. I have done everthing you guys have mentioned as well and nothing. Sometimes it will work for a couple of hours or days but right back to the same problem. ATT&T even sent me another phone and gmail is still not pushing.

Thanks!
