How to access old gmail sign in page, not new spalsh page

I don't want to be redirected to the new splash page allowing me to select any app. I would like to just login directly into gmail. What is the url or account setting that I can use to do this, previously mail.google.com worked just fine.

These types of changes in functionality are a big negative.

The new Gmail sign in page doesn't allow you to select any app. It simply signs you into your Google account via your Gmail username and password - just like it always has.  Which means you automatically have access to all your Google products and services - just like before.

Nothing has changed. If you want to keep operating like before, just sign in and go to Gmail like you always did. There's no compulsion to use any of the other services if you don't want to.

Not true... I am unable to find the new URL to go directly to a screen in which I can enter my username and password. I go to a stupid splash page. Is there no longer a way to go directly to the sign-in page if I delete cache and history upon exit from Firefox?

...Contemplating Thunderbird as an access point for my email since Google seems intent on ruining their interfaces.

Agreed. Stop making us click through just to sign in.

What about the old login screen for gmail, I don't like the new login at all it looks stupid on my computer and I was able to customize the old one. Also non of my old links work anymore. I want the old login page back.

I'm with you all. This new sign page is a pain where it used to take maybe 30 seconds to sign in , now it is more like 5 minutes or sometimes more Please people go back to the old way, it was way better for a lot of us. Thanks
