j_._m'Sign Out' link is absent from Gmail page
1 Recommended AnswerWhen I open Gmail today I cannot find the Sign Out link usually in the upper right corner.
If this is a glitch, can we please have it replaced on the g-mail page? Thanks!
I was forced to go to the Google home page and sign out there.

SarahHi everyone,
To sign out, click your email address in the top right-corner, and select Sign out from the drop down menu.
I also want to let you know that I've been reading all of your feedback in this thread and in other threads in the forum. I appreciate that you've taken the time to write about your reaction to the changes and I'll be sure to pass your thoughts along to the rest of the team.
Best,
Sarah

LMckin51-G-Suite-Product Expertj_._m,
The sign out link should be very top where your username is?

j_._mI know where it belongs as I have been a long time gmail user. The issue was it's absence from it's usual place.
I changed browsers and it was still not there. Perhaps with some updating something was briefly amiss.

jcarerraTotally agree. I have two gmail accounts--personal and one for an organization I am in. Now I can't get into the other one because I can't sign out of the first one. Every time I go to my gmail bookmark, it opens the already signed in account!
Totally unacceptable FIX THIS

pinto5135I think they changed the pages on us.. Now the log out is under you name.. hidden in a drop down.... WHY ? login and log_out changes drive us users crazy....

movrshakrHow stupid is that! I thought Google was supposed to be this incredibly sharp, smart company. Changing a one click sign-out to take two two clicks? Wow, what a major improvement--if you're stupid.

cynlou1The "Sign Out" should be put back where it was originally. Makes no sense to click 2x, thought Google was more update than that. Also appears that the original screen has been changed? When I sign in, it automatically goes to mail received which I am not ready to look at yet. Sometimes I want to create mail first. What's the deal about that? Some of your changes do not make sense to me. How about reverting back to the good old way?
