Start or join video calls from the Meet tab

  3. To organise a new meeting, tap New meeting. You’ll have three options:
    • Insert link Get joining info to share: This creates a new meeting, but doesn’t join it right away. A new meeting link will appear so that you can share it with others. Once you have shared the link and are ready to join the meeting, tap Join a meeting and use this code to enter it.
    • Camera Start an instant meeting: This creates a new meeting and joins it right away. Once in the call, you can share the meeting invite with others.
    •  Schedule in Google Calendar: This will direct you to the Google Calendar app to schedule a new meeting.
  4. To join a meeting with a meeting code, tap Join a meeting > enter the code > tap Join.
