New:

  1. Open Gmail on a computer.
  2. At the top right, click the gear Settings.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Click the Accounts tab.
  5. In the “Send mail as:” section, locate the email address you'd like to edit.
  6. Click edit info next to the address.
  7. In the “Name:” section, specify what you’d like your name to be and click Save changes.

Add or remove dots from username

If you'd like to add or delete dots (.) from your username, you don't have to change a thing. If your username is "my.address@gmail.com," messages sent to "myaddress@gmail.com" and "m.y.a.d.d.r.e.s.s@gmail.com" will be delivered to your inbox. Learn more about dots.

  • Import old messages with POP3.
Transfer contacts
