Snooze emails until later

When you snooze an email, the email is removed from your inbox temporarily in Gmail. Your email comes back to the top of your inbox when you want it to, whether that's tomorrow, next week, or in the evening.

Snooze an email

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app
  2. Open an email.
  3. In the top right, tap More Moreand then Snooze.
  4. Choose a later day and time to get the email.

To snooze multiple messages, select the messages, then tap More Moreand then Snooze

Tip: You can change your Gmail settings to quickly take this action by swiping left or right on messages in your messages list.

Find snoozed emails

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
  2. In the top left, tap Menu Menuand then Snoozed.

Edit notifications

When you snooze an email to a specific time, you'll get a notification on your mobile device at that time, unless you turned off notifications. Learn more about notifications.
