Add another account

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the menu Menu.
  3. Touch your account address (skip this step on iPad).
  4. Touch Manage Accounts > Add another account.
  5. Enter your username and password

Problems signing in?

If you forgot your password or username, click the Can’t access your account? link on the sign in page.

If you know your username and password, see this article for more help signing in.

Sign out

You can sign out of each account individually by removing the account. When you remove an account on a Google app, you sign out of all Google apps you might have on your device for that account.

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the menu Menu.
  3. Touch Manage accounts > Edit .
  4. Select the Remove option.

Follow these steps if you just don't want this account to show for Gmail, but would like to continue using other Google apps with this account.

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the menu Menu.
  3. Touch Manage accounts.
  4. Switch the account you'd like to remove from Gmail only to Off. This account won't be removed from other Google apps on your device.

Switch accounts

After you've added at least two accounts, you can easily switch between them.

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the menu Menu.
  3. Touch your account address (skip this step on iPad).
  4. Touch the account you’d like to switch to.

Note that you don’t need to sign out of your original account to switch to another account.
