View messages with a specific label

  1. Touch the menu Menu.
  2. Tap on a section to view sent mail, messages in Trash, inbox categories, your custom labels, and more.

Change or add labels to a message

  1. Open or select one or more messages.
  2. Touch the menu ( More or your device's menu button).
  3. Select Change labels.
  4. Check or uncheck labels.
  5. Touch OK.

Create a label

To create a label, open Gmail on your desktop and follow these steps.

View messages with a specific label

  1. When viewing your Inbox or another conversation list, touch the name of the current label at the top left of the list. Or touch Menu > Go to labels.

  2. Touch a label to view a list of conversations with that label.

The conversation list resembles your Inbox, but the label replaces “Inbox” at the top left of the list. You work with labeled conversation lists in the same way that you work with your Inbox.
