Check emails from other accounts

If you have multiple email accounts, you can check them in Gmail. Learn how to add another email account to the Gmail app.

Add or remove an email account

You can add both Gmail and non-Gmail accounts to the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad. Make sure you've downloaded the Gmail app.

Add an account
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app .
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add.
    • To use iCloud Mail, @me.com, or @mac.com accounts, tap iCloud.
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, tap Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't find your email service, select Other (IMAP).
  5. To add your account, follow the steps on the screen.

Tip: If available, tap Try Gmailify to get Gmail features with your added account, like spam protection and email categories.

Remove an account
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app .
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Manage accounts on this device and then Remove from this device.

  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap the account you want to use.
Find messages from all email accounts
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app .
  2. In the top left, tap Menu Menu and then All inboxes.
