About Web Clips
Web Clips show you news headlines, blog posts, RSS and Atom feeds*, and relevant sponsored links, right at the top of your inbox. Each clip displays the source from which it was received, how long ago the clip was published, and a link to access the entire story or page containing the clip. From your inbox, you can scroll through clips you've already seen by clicking the left arrow (<) or see new clips by clicking the right arrow (>).
Clips of your favorite RSS and Atom feeds are displayed randomly, and aren't targeted to the contents of your mail.*Many websites use RSS (Really Simple Syndication) and Atom feeds to send updated headlines to their users via services similar to Web Clips. All sorts of web sites and publishers produce feeds - newspapers often publish feeds of daily headlines or breaking news stories, magazines might publish feeds about top stories, and other sites use feeds to alert customers to new products, upcoming events, or other important information.
