Use integrations with Gemini in Workspace

In the Gemini side panel in a Workspace app, you can connect to and retrieve information from third-party apps and services, like Asana and Mailchimp. These are known as integrations.

What you need

To use an integration with Gemini in Workspace, make sure:

  • You have a qualified edition of Google Workspace.
  • You meet the requirements for paid third-party services. Some integrations require a subscription to use with Gemini.
  • Your account’s Google Workspace administrator enables the ability to connect integrations to Gemini in Workspace. If you can't use an integration, ask your administrator to allow it or connect it for you.

Connect an integration

  1. On your computer, go to the Google Workspace Marketplace integrations page.
    • This page provides a pre-filtered view of integrations that work with Gemini in Workspace.
  2. Select the integration you want to connect to Gemini in Workspace.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. To grant the integration access to your Google Account data and complete the connection, follow the on-screen instructions.
    • A third-party helper app might be required. To check if a helper app is needed, review the app's details page in the Workspace Marketplace. Any requirements are listed in the “Overview” section.
