If you get frequent promotional emails and newsletters in Gmail, you can unsubscribe from them. After you've unsubscribed, it may take a few days for you to stop receiving emails from the mailing list.
Unsubscribe from a promotional email or newsletter
Important: To unsubscribe, some senders may require you to go to their website. Instead of an unsubscribe option, you'll get a 'Go to website' option in the email.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app

- Open an email that you want to unsubscribe from.
- Next to the sender's name, tap Unsubscribe.
- In the pop-up, tap Unsubscribe or Go to website.

- When you unsubscribe from a specific email, it might only unsubscribe you from a single mailing list from the sender. To unsubscribe and locate all active subscriptions from a sender, at the top left, tap Menu

- When you unsubscribe, instead of the sender's name, you may find a unique identifier for a mailing list or list ID.
