Print with Google Cloud Print
Print emails or attachments directly from your phone in Gmail using Google Cloud Print. To get started, connect your printer to Google Cloud Print using a using a Mac or Windows PC with Google Chrome installed.
Tip: To check if your printer is already connected to Google Cloud Print, follow the steps below. If you need to get set up, you’ll be redirected to a page with instructions on how to get started.
Print an email
- Using Gmail in your mobile browser, open the conversation you’d like to print.
- Touch the Print link in the drop-down menu at the top of your message.
- Select a connected printer from the list, or use the search bar to find other available printers. To modify the printing options, click Options next to the selected printer.
- When you’re ready, touch Print and your email will be added to the connected printer’s queue.
Print an attachment
You can also print PDFs, Word files, and text files from Gmail. Within your email, touch the Print link next to the document's filename.
Google Cloud Print is available when Gmail is accessed through a mobile web browser on Android (2.1+), BlackBerry (OS 6+) devices and Apple (iPhone 3.0+ and iOS) devices only.
Google Cloud Print setup is currently only supported on Mac or Windows PCs. Linux support will be available in the near future.
