You can export and download your data from Gmail. You can download data that hasn't been deleted. You can create an archive to keep for your records or use the data in another service. Learn how to download your data.
If you use a work or school account, some data might not be available for download. If you're a super administrator for your Google domain, you can download or migrate your organisation's data. Learn how to export your organisation's Google Workspace data.
Tips:
- You can export label data and forwarding addresses in different formats. To track email forwards, create a new label.
- When you download your data, encrypted messages remain encrypted. Messages aren't decrypted in the download.

- Messages opened by the user
- Messages for which read receipts were sent to the sender
- Messages that are scheduled to be sent in the future
- Messages that have been snoozed
- User-defined labels and IMAP keywords

- Email signatures
- Out-of-office messages and subjects
- Delegated sender addresses
- Other account addresses
