Export from the Explorer (Labs)

Exporting from the Explorer lets you add the current chart displayed in the exploration tab to a new report, or to an existing report. Any filters, date ranges, or other customizations you applied to the chart in the exploration are copied to the chart in the report.

Export to a new report

This option creates a new Looker Studio report based on your current exploration.

1. In the upper right, click  (Export to report and share).
2. Click Create new report and share.
3. Click ADD TO REPORT to add the exploration's data source to the new report.

Copy to existing report

This option lets you copy and paste the current exploration into an existing Looker Studio report.

1. In the upper right, click  (Export to report and share).
2. Click Copy to existing report and share.
3. In the upper left, click the Looker Studio logo to return to the Home page.
4. On the left, click REPORTS.
5. Locate the report you want to use.
6. Select Edit > Paste.

The exploration's chart should now appear in the new report.
