Your Google user profile preferences determine the language that Looker Studio uses in its user interface.
There are two ways change your language for the Looker Studio user interface. You can either change your language for all Google services or only Looker Studio.
- To change the language on all of your web-based Google services, follow the steps on the Change your language on the web article.
- To change your language in Looker Studio only, add the
?hl=<language code>
parameter to your URL, replacing<language code>
with a supported language code. For example, to change your language to Spanish, enter the following URL in your browser:lookerstudio.google.com?hl=es
Limits
Note the following limits of changing the interface language:

Text in your data will not be translated.
- Labels, field names, or other text elements that you have edited in Looker Studio will not be translated.
- You cannot change the language for other looker Studio users.
- You cannot set a language at the report or chart level.
- For Google Analytics and Google Ads data sources, if you change your language and then refresh your data source fields, the field names will revert to their default names in the new language.
