Edit business information in Google Maps

If you’re familiar with a place, you can provide feedback that helps Google Maps decide whether to change a place's information.

Important:

• If you own or manage a business, learn how to fix your business information.
• Before you make suggestions about a place, make sure that you’re signed in to your Google Account.
• You can only edit business attributes in select countries and regions.

Change a place's business hours

1. Open Google Maps .
2. Search for a place or select it on the map.
3. To display the business’s hours: Select the Overview tab. Scroll to Hours , and select the Down arrow .
4. Select Suggest an edit.
5. Choose from the following:
   • If opening hours are incorrect: Next to the hours that you want to change, select Edit .
   • If some or all opening hours are missing: At the bottom, select Edit hours .
     • If a place has additional open or closed hours, like a lunch break in the middle of the day, select Add hours to fill in the details.
6. Complete your edits, and select Save.

Tip: To help us verify your suggestion, add a photo. Your photos are publicly available under your name.

Change a place's name, location or other details

1. Open Google Maps .
2. Search for a place or select it on the map.
3. Select Suggest an edit Change name or other details. 
4. To submit your feedback, follow the on-screen instructions.

Edit a place’s services and features in Google Maps

You can describe a place’s service options, highlights, accessibility, special food or drink offerings, dining options, amenities, atmosphere, crowd, planning considerations or payment options.

Important: You can only suggest edits to business attributes on a mobile device.

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app .
2. Find the profile of the business that you want to edit.
3. In the tab selector bar, scroll sideways and tap About  Update this place .
4. From the given descriptions, tap a description to change it to:
   • True
   • False
   • Unsure
5. When you’re done making edits, tap Submit.

Wait time to publish corrections

To make sure that Maps is accurate and up to date, we review all the edits that you make. Changes may take time to appear on the map, and we'll keep you updated on the status of your edits.
