Personal information removal request form

For privacy reasons, you may have the right to ask for certain personal information relating to you to be removed.

This form is for requesting the removal of specific content from the Google product you have selected. If you want to request removal of personal information from another Google product, please submit a request through that other product’s form, which you can reach at our Removing Content From Google page.

For example, if you want to request removal of specific results in Google Search for queries that include your name, please submit a request on the relevant Google Search form.

When you make your request, we will balance the privacy rights of the individual concerned with the interest of the general public in having access to the information, as well as the right of others to distribute the information — for example, we may decline to remove certain information about financial scams, professional malpractice, criminal convictions, or public conduct of government officials.

You will need a digital copy of an identification document to complete this form. If you are submitting this request on behalf of someone else, you will need to supply identification documentation for them.

Your information

Your own name, even if you are making the request on behalf of someone else who you are authorized to represent. If you are representing someone else, you must have the legal authority to act on their behalf.
If you are submitting this request on behalf of someone else, please specify your relationship to that person (for example: "parent", "attorney"). We may ask for documentation confirming that you are authorized to represent this person.

Subject of this request

The full legal first name of the person you are representing, even if it is yourself. If you are representing someone else, you must have the legal authority to act on their behalf.
The full legal last name of the person you are representing, even if it is yourself. If you are representing someone else, you must have the legal authority to act on their behalf.
To prevent fraudulent removal requests from people impersonating others, trying to harm competitors, or improperly seeking to suppress legal information, we need to verify the identity of the person on whose behalf the request is made (the relevant individual). A passport or other government-issued ID is not required. You may obscure parts of the document (e.g. ID number) as long as the remaining information identifies the relevant individual. You may also obscure any photograph in the identification document, unless you are asking for removal of pages that include photographs of the relevant individual. Google LLC will use this information solely to help us assess and document the authenticity of your request and will delete the copy within a month of closing your removal request except as otherwise required by law.
Add additional

If you (or the relevant individual) have already asked us to remove URLs containing similar content, we can help you more quickly if you reply to the email we sent you (or the relevant individual) instead of sending a new notice.

If you would rather send us a new notice, enter the 14-digit reference number from the previous request. As an example, the format will be similar to 1-1111000001111. You can find the reference number in the subject line of the email we sent in response to the previous request.

Please provide a valid case ID. Do not include spaces or brackets.

Add additional
If you have many URLs to report, we recommend submitting between 10 to 100 per notice for the fastest possible processing time. You can submit multiple URLs by clicking the "Add additional" link below.

Please enter a valid URL. The URL you entered may not be a complete URL, meaning it may be broken with ellipses ("..."), have a space (" ") in the middle or at the end, or be missing key elements of a URL (such as missing "http://", ".com", ".org", etc.).

URLs that begin with business.google or services.google are not accepted.

YouTube URLs are not accepted.

Please note that we cannot accept your request if any of the URLs you submitted are invalid.

For example, "a photo of me".

For each URL you provided, please explain:

  1. how the personal information identified above relates to the person on whose behalf this request is made; and
  2. why you believe the personal information should be removed.

For example: "(1) This page is about me because a, b, and c. (2) This page should be removed because x, y, and z."
