Submit a court order to Google

* Required field

We use this form to review court orders against third parties who have posted allegedly unlawful or infringing content. If your court order is directed to Google, don't use this form - we don't accept service of process here.

If your court order does not identify content specifically by URL, please provide the exact URLs of the content you’re concerned about, and identify what section of the order applies to each URL.

Completing and submitting this form does not guarantee that any action will be taken on your request.

Please note this webform is for requests to remove content on the basis of local court orders. If you would like to exercise your "right to be forgotten" under data protection laws to delist content in Google Search, please use this form instead. If you are unsure which form to use, find more information about court order requests here and “right to be forgotten” requests here.

Legal removal requests are subject to automated processing. For more information, see the Legal Help Center.

Some of the information in your request may be sent to Lumen, an independent research project studying online content takedown requests. For more information about Lumen, see here.

Google generally doesn't share with Lumen any personal data contained in this form, including the name of the individual making the request. As an exception, Google will share personal data with Lumen in circumstances in which there's an overriding public interest in sharing this information following a case-by-case assessment, in which case we will notify you about the sharing. For more information about when and what data we share with Lumen and why, see here.
