Archive notes and lists

Once you've finished with a note in Keep, you can store or delete it.

Archive a note

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Keep .
2. Tap the note that you want to archive.
3. At the top right, tap Archive .

Tip: To archive multiple notes at once, touch and hold them on the Keep home screen and tap More   Archive.

Delete a note

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Keep .
2. Tap the note that you want to delete.
3. At the bottom right, tap Action   Delete . Deleted notes are also deleted for anyone that you've shared them with.

Tip: To delete multiple notes at once, touch and hold each note on the Keep home screen, then tap More   Delete.

Take notes out of the archive

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Keep .
2. In the top left-hand corner, tap Menu   Archive .
3. Click or tap a note to open it.
4. Click or tap Unarchive .

Recover deleted notes

After deleting a note, you have seven days to recover it.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Keep .
2. In the top left-hand corner, tap Menu   Bin .
3. Click or tap a note to open it.
4. To move a note out of the bin, tap Action   Restore.

Empty your bin

You can also empty the bin at any time. This permanently deletes any notes in the bin.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Keep .
2. In the top left-hand corner, click or tap Menu   Bin .
3. Tap More   Empty bin.
