How do I change (in bulk, not individually) all my students from editor to viewer status 0 Recommended Answers 2 Replies 1 Upvote
I am using Jam in my Google Meets and I allow my students editor access so they can work on it and I can see their work. I want to share 1 jam with all of them because I want them to see others' ideas (so please don't tell me to "make a copy" for each student as this is not what I want for my lessons).
After we work on it as a class, I don't want students to edit it later. I know I can change their status individually but I have 30 students. Is there a way to change in bulk? (e.g. For flipgrid, I can change all students' status at the same time to active or hidden and not have to do this individually).

Welcome to the Jamboard forum! How did you share the Jam with your students? If you shared it using Google Classroom, then you may be able to change the sharing permissions of the classroom listed to viewer only. If you shared it to each student and each student is listed then you will have to do to each one individually.

Leave the team feedback on your request by clicking on the 3 dot menu at the top of the Jam.

Hi,
I shared the jam through a Google Meet with students from my Google Classroom. The meet link was taken from my Google Classroom as well.
