I'm having trouble  with some students, not all of them, who can't open a Jamboard I send them as an assignment in Google Classroom. They tell me it cannot be opened because it is configured for children over 13. I don't seem to figure out how to change the configuration.

Hello!

Welcome to the Jamboard forum! Let me pass this along to the team to for further suggestions.  Since Jamboard is a core app in the G Suite bundle, and administered in the domain, I really don't know why there is an age restriction.  I will post an update as soon as I hear a response.  Please be patient.

In the meantime, here is a reference article.

I hope this helps.

I am having this same problem.  I am trying to use it with a team of kids ages 9-14 (not through a school).  It seems to be a problem with the kids under age 13 who have their Google accounts through Google Family Link.  And I've tried adding Google Jamboard to my own younger child's whitelist through Google Family Link and still no luck.

We are also having the same issue and would love to allow all our students access.

Same problem here. Only when my son is using his own google account, which is a minor account linked with mine.  I rely on family link to control what other sites he can use, but he can't do his homework on jambord.

I'm trying to reply all forum for this issue, because
I found a solution to use jamboard on my kids tablet with exception. follow below...

open family link app on your own device to go into your kid account, then manage setting, then filter on google chrome, then either add the website link of jamboard into "block mature site" to allow it, or "allow only certain site" to enter that in.
then they can start using jamboard on the tablet.
